Traffic cameras — number plates, speed, parking
Dahua's traffic management solution is built around three words: safer (detecting high-risk driving), smoother (signal and flow control based on data) and more efficient (decisions made on measured traffic, not guesses). Much of it is city and highway project scale. But the same technology Dahua uses at intersections and on highways also exists for a single barrier, a car park or a company yard — and those cameras are in our stock.
What Dahua traffic management covers
Dahua divides the solution into three areas and eleven applications. In short, what actually comes up on Estonian sites:

The remaining five — signal control (isolated intersection and green wave), variable message signs, axle counting for toll audit, in-vehicle violations and vehicle noise detection — belong to state and city projects. We do not sell those off the shelf, but as Dahua's importer we can put the project together.

Number plate recognition for barriers and car parks
The ITC413 ANPR cameras come in two lens variants: shorter (2.7–12 mm) for a barrier where the car is 3–8 metres away, and longer (8–32 mm) for a driveway or the end of a car park where you read from further off. Both have IR light, alarm and audio interfaces. A Wiegand converter passes the read plate to the access controller — so the barrier opens only for permitted cars and the log stays in the controller, not the camera. A real-life example: a company yard with 60 cars
One ITC413 ANPR camera at the entrance and a Wiegand converter on the existing barrier controller. Staff cars are on the list and drive in without remotes or cards; couriers call the guard as before. Who drove in and out, and when, is listed to the second — a dispute over a missing pallet was settled in the first week.Parking space occupancy
ITC414 parking space cameras watch three or six spaces at once, read the plate and show with a seven-colour indicator whether a space is free, occupied or reserved. ITC439 covers up to 50 spaces in an open car park with one camera. Both answer the question no ordinary camera can: how many spaces are free right now, and where.
Speed and traffic
The ITC431 AI traffic camera with a 10–50 mm zoom lens is made for watching a road from a distance: plate recognition, vehicle types, traffic flow. Spotter Nano is the compact member of the same family, with a built-in speed radar and 4G — mountable on a pole without cable. The PFR5QI radar camera combines a 60 GHz radar with a 4 MP camera: the radar sees the vehicle from 60 metres even in fog and darkness, the camera confirms it with a picture.
How to start
- Say what question you want answered — who drove in, how many spaces are free, how fast people drive. The camera follows from that, not the other way round.
- Measure the distance and the angle — to read a plate the camera must be as close to the driving line as possible and know how many metres to the car. The lens is chosen from that.
- Decide where the log goes — the camera, the recorder or the access controller. For a barrier, the controller.
