Vehicle entrance and exit — a barrier that recognises the car
Dahua's small and medium business solution to a question every property manager and production manager knows: who may drive into the yard, how they get in without queuing, and how to know afterwards who came when. The answer is an ANPR camera at the barrier — a listed car drives in without stopping, a stranger stays behind the barrier, and everything goes into the log.

What is in the solution
Dahua's own figures: plate capture rate above 99% and recognition accuracy above 98%, recognition time 0.8 seconds. A blocklisted car triggers an alarm — the camera's own speaker (120 dB) and red-and-blue LEDs warn on the spot, the guard gets a notification. The camera is IP67 and IK10 in an aluminium body and works from −30 to +65 °C — an Estonian winter is not a problem for it.

ITC413-PW4D ANPR camera — in stock, two lens variants (2.7–12 mm for the barrier, 8–32 mm for further away).
Wiegand converter IPM-AE7 — in stock; passes the read plate to the access controller, so the barrier is run by the same system as doors and cards.
PoE switch PFS3110-8ET-96, recorder NVR5216-EI, 32" monitor LM32-F200 — in stock; the recorder keeps the log with pictures, the monitor goes on the guard desk.
Barrier IPMECD-302X, 79 GHz anti-smashing radar ITSJC-2303 and LED display ITSXS-1201 — ordered per project; the radar keeps the arm from dropping onto a car, the display shows "Welcome" or "Not on the list".
A real-life example: an apartment building with a 40-space yard
Residents' cars are on the list and the barrier opens for them on the move. Visitors have a call button instead of a remote, and the refuse lorry's plate is added with a time window — Mondays 6–9. If a car that does not belong turns up, it stays behind the barrier and the manager sees the picture on their phone. "Who was parked in my space" is now settled from the log, not at the meeting.A real-life example: a factory with two gates
Staff and contracted hauliers drive in without stopping; an unknown lorry stops and the guard confirms manually. On the way out the plate is read again — so it is known how long each lorry was on site, and there is a picture for pallet disputes.How to start
- Measure the distance between the barrier and where the car stops — the lens follows from it (2.7–12 mm up to ~8 m, 8–32 mm beyond).
- Decide who manages the list — the camera itself (a small yard, a hundred cars) or the access controller together with doors and cards (a company, several gates).
- Barrier already there? Usually the existing arm can stay — the Wiegand converter connects to its controller. A new barrier, radar and display are ordered per project.
