Terms and conditions

Validity of the sales contract, product and price information

The online shop videovalve.ee (hereinafter the Shop) is owned by Videovalve OÜ (registry code 11022817, VAT no. EE100889613), located at Sõpruse pst. 159B, Tallinn 13417, Estonia.

These terms apply to purchases made in the Shop.

Prices of the products sold in the Shop are shown next to each product and include VAT. A delivery charge is added unless stated otherwise.

The delivery charge depends on the buyer's location and the chosen delivery method and is shown to the buyer during checkout.

Free delivery (order value including VAT): Venipak parcel locker from €50, DPD parcel locker from €80, OSC courier from €100. Collection from our warehouse is always free.

Information about each product is presented next to the product in the Shop.

Placing an order

Add the desired products to the shopping cart, fill in the required fields and choose a delivery method. The total amount is then displayed and can be paid using one of the following methods:

  • Via ESTO: Estonian bank links, Visa/Mastercard card payment and ESTO instalment payment
  • Advance payment — you pay on the basis of the order confirmation (the bank details are in that email); we dispatch the goods (or hand them over at our office) once payment has been received, and issue the accounting invoice then
  • Invoice with a payment term — only for customers with a prior credit agreement
  • On site at our office by card or cash — only together with the "Collect from our warehouse" delivery method

Payments via ESTO are processed outside the Shop in a secure environment. The Shop has no access to the buyer's bank or card details. The Shop is the controller of personal data and forwards the personal data required to process the payment to its processor ESTO.

The contract enters into force once the amount due has been received in the Shop's bank account. Where payment is made against an invoice with a payment term, the contract enters into force when the Shop confirms the order.

If the ordered goods cannot be delivered because they are out of stock or for any other reason, the buyer is notified at the earliest opportunity and any amounts paid (including delivery costs) are refunded, as a rule within 1–2 business days. Depending on the payment method, the refund may take up to 7 business days to arrive.

Delivery

Goods are shipped to the following countries: Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Finland, Poland.

The buyer can receive the goods in the following ways:

  • Collect from our warehouse — Sõpruse pst. 159B, Tallinn, Mon–Fri 9:00–17:00
  • Venipak parcel locker
  • DPD parcel locker
  • OSC courier to your address

Shipping costs are borne by the buyer and are shown next to each delivery method during checkout. Free-delivery thresholds differ by method: Venipak parcel locker from €50, DPD parcel locker from €80, OSC courier from €100 (amounts including VAT). Collection from our warehouse is always free.

Orders placed before 14:00 are handed over to the carrier on the same business day; later orders on the next business day. The remaining delivery time depends on the carrier and is usually 1–2 business days. Outside Estonia, delivery takes up to 14 calendar days. In exceptional cases the Shop is entitled to deliver within up to 30 calendar days. If the Shop has informed the buyer on the website or in the order confirmation of delivery problems and a period exceeding 30 calendar days, the period published by the Shop applies.

Delivery times apply to goods held in stock.

Right of withdrawal

After receiving the order, the buyer has the right to withdraw from the contract concluded in the online shop within 14 days.

The right of withdrawal does not apply if the buyer is a legal person.

In order to use the 14-day right of return, the ordered goods may not be used in any way other than is necessary to ascertain their nature, characteristics and functioning, in the manner permitted for testing goods in a physical shop.

If the goods have been used for a purpose other than ascertaining their nature, characteristics and functioning, or show signs of use or wear, the Shop is entitled to reduce the refund in proportion to the decrease in the value of the goods.

To return goods, a notice of withdrawal must be submitted using the form found on the Right of withdrawal page and sent to info@videovalve.ee no later than 14 days after receiving the goods.

The cost of returning the goods is borne by the buyer, except where the reason for the return is that the item to be returned does not correspond to what was ordered (e.g. a wrong or defective item).

The buyer must return the goods within 14 days of submitting the notice, or provide proof that the goods were handed over to a carrier within that period.

Upon receiving the returned goods, the Shop refunds all payments received from the buyer under the contract without delay, but no later than 14 days after receiving the notice of withdrawal.

The Shop may withhold the refund until it has received the item, or until the buyer has provided proof of having sent the item back, whichever comes first.

If the buyer has expressly chosen a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery method offered by the Shop, the Shop does not have to refund the cost exceeding that of the standard delivery method.

The Shop is entitled to withdraw from the transaction and reclaim the goods if the price in the online shop was, by mistake, set significantly below the market price.

Right to lodge a complaint

The Shop is liable for non-conformity or defects of the goods sold to the buyer that existed at the time of handover and which become apparent within two years of the goods being handed over to the buyer. During the first year after handover, the defect is presumed to have existed at the time of handover. Rebutting that presumption is the Shop's obligation.

Should a defect appear, the buyer has the right to contact the Shop within two months by emailing support@videovalve.ee or calling +372 6715042.

The Shop is not liable for defects that have arisen after the goods were handed over due to the consumer's action or inaction (incorrect use, accident, etc.), or where the defect is normal wear resulting from ordinary use.

If goods purchased from the Shop have defects for which the Shop is liable, the Shop will repair or replace the defective goods. If the goods can neither be repaired nor replaced, the Shop will refund all payments made under the sales contract.

The Shop responds to a consumer complaint in writing, or in a form that can be reproduced in writing, within 15 days.

Direct marketing and processing of personal data

The processing of personal data is described in our Privacy policy.

Resolution of disputes

Complaints regarding the Shop should be sent to info@videovalve.ee or raised by calling +372 6715042.

If the buyer and the Shop are unable to settle a dispute by agreement, the buyer may turn to the Estonian Consumer Disputes Committee. The procedural terms and the application form are available at komisjon.ee. The Committee is competent to resolve disputes arising from the contract concluded between the buyer and the Shop. Reviewing the buyer's complaint is free of charge.
