Dahua NVR5432-XI is a 32-channel WizMind series NVR with four disk bays. Bandwidth is 512 Mbps in, recording and out, and cameras can be up to 32 MP. The recorder performs face recognition, video metadata, SMD and perimeter protection itself — even when the camera has no AI of its own.

Key Advantages and Features:

  • 32 channels at 512 Mbps: incoming, recording and outgoing bandwidth are all 512 Mbps, so 32 cameras fit even at high resolution. With AI enabled the figure is 200 Mbps.
  • Cameras up to 32 MP: the recorder accepts up to 32-megapixel video and decodes 32 channels at 1080p@30 fps. Fewer channels at higher resolution: two 32 MP or eight 8 MP, for example.
  • AI inside the recorder: face detection and recognition on 8 channels, video metadata on 8, SMD on 32 and perimeter protection on 24 — even when the camera itself has no AI. With an AcuPick camera, AcuPick works on all channels.
  • Four disks, up to 20 TB each: four SATA bays plus a separate eSATA port. The per-disk ceiling depends on ambient temperature. N+M cluster and iSCSI are supported.
  • Two screens, separate sources: two HDMI outputs (up to 4K) and two VGA; HDMI1 and HDMI2 can show different sources. Up to 36 windows on the main screen.
  • Open to other cameras: ONVIF 23.06 (Profile S/G/T), CGI and SDK; Panasonic, Sony, Axis, Arecont, Pelco, Canon and Hanwha are supported directly.
