Product "Ubiquiti UVC-AI-LPR 8MP IP licence plate camera • 4K 3x zoom • IP66 • PoE+ • black"
Ubiquiti UVC-AI-LPR is a 4K camera built for one job: reading vehicle licence plates. A 3x optical zoom and dedicated exposure read the plate even when headlights point straight at the camera, where an ordinary camera gives a white blur.
Key Advantages and Features:
- Plate recognition on the camera: Detection runs on the camera — no separate ANPR server or licence.
- 3x optical zoom: 110° to 35°, so the camera can stand further from the gate.
- Copes with headlights: Exposure is metered for the plate, not the average of the whole frame.
- IP66: For a gate, car park or driveway.
- Works with gate automation: Through UniFi Access the gate can open on a recognised plate.

Suits a driveway, car park gate or site boundary. Add a normal camera alongside for the overview — an LPR camera is tuned for the plate, not the scene. The camera runs on UniFi Protect: recording and viewing go through a UniFi recorder or Cloud Gateway, with no separate licence or subscription. Detection (person, vehicle, animal, face, licence plate) runs on the camera itself, not in a cloud service.

Ubiquiti – radio links and UniFi networks
Ubiquiti is best known for its wireless products: airMAX and airFiber links take the network where cable cannot go. The UniFi line applies the same logic to wired networking and Wi-Fi.
Why Ubiquiti?
A radio link instead of cable – you can connect two buildings or yards without digging. In surveillance this is often the only sensible way to get a distant camera back to the recorder.
Unified UniFi management – access points, switches and routers in one controller, with a network map and monitoring.
Built for outdoors – most of the radio hardware is designed for a mast or a wall and copes with a Nordic climate.
We stock both point-to-point links and UniFi network gear. With any radio link, remember it needs line of sight — if there is forest or a building in the way, a stronger antenna will not fix it.
