Product "Ubiquiti UP-AI-Port UniFi Protect AI Appliance – Adds AI to Any ONVIF Camera"
Ubiquiti UP-AI-Port is a small appliance that brings AI to a camera that does not have it, inside a UniFi Protect system. It sits between the camera and the network: it takes PoE in on one port and passes power to the camera on the other. Works with UniFi and third-party ONVIF cameras.
Key Advantages and Features:
- Makes an existing camera smart: the unit sits between the camera and the network and gives UniFi Protect people detection, object classification and license plate recognition even when the camera itself cannot do it. Works with UniFi and third-party ONVIF cameras.
- Cable through, power onward: one port is PoE IN, the other PoE OUT — the AI Port takes power from the network and passes it on to the camera. No separate adapter and no second cable run.
- Up to 4K input: processes camera video up to 3840 × 2160, so an 8 MP camera does not have to drop quality.
- Goes where the camera is: a 150 × 64 × 38.4 mm polycarbonate housing for a wall, a pole (over 45 mm diameter) or a rack. Rated −20 °C to +40 °C.
- Managed in one place: the unit appears in UniFi Protect and is managed from the same web interface and mobile app as the rest of the cameras. NDAA compliant.

Ubiquiti – radio links and UniFi networks
Ubiquiti is best known for its wireless products: airMAX and airFiber links take the network where cable cannot go. The UniFi line applies the same logic to wired networking and Wi-Fi.
Why Ubiquiti?
A radio link instead of cable – you can connect two buildings or yards without digging. In surveillance this is often the only sensible way to get a distant camera back to the recorder.
Unified UniFi management – access points, switches and routers in one controller, with a network map and monitoring.
Built for outdoors – most of the radio hardware is designed for a mast or a wall and copes with a Nordic climate.
We stock both point-to-point links and UniFi network gear. With any radio link, remember it needs line of sight — if there is forest or a building in the way, a stronger antenna will not fix it.
