Product "EAST EA902PSRT Online UPS 2000VA (1800W), 19" rack 2U, LCD, RS232 (EA902SPRT_EPO)"
EAST EA902PSRT is a 2000 VA / 1800 W double-conversion (online) UPS for a 19-inch rack. Unlike a cheaper line-interactive unit it never switches the load between mains and battery — the output is rebuilt continuously, so the equipment always sees a clean sine wave and the transfer time is 0 ms.
Key Advantages and Features:
- True double conversion: The output is rebuilt continuously, so mains sags, frequency drift and noise never reach the load. Transfer from mains to battery takes 0 ms.
- Wide input range: Works from 110–300 V and 40–70 Hz — the battery is only used when the mains is genuinely gone, which preserves battery life.
- Easy on the mains: Active power factor correction keeps the input power factor up to 0.99 and distortion below 6 %.
- ECO mode: Up to 96 % efficiency in ECO mode — less heat and a smaller electricity bill.
- Cold start: Starts from battery alone with no mains present — useful when the power is already out before the equipment is switched on.
- LCD menu and RS232: Output voltage, EOD, auto-start and bypass mode are set from the LCD. RS232 is standard; USB, RS485, dry contacts and an SNMP card are optional.
- Hot-swap batteries and ABM: Batteries can be replaced without dropping the load; ABM charging restores 90 % of capacity in three hours.
- Rack or tower: The 2U housing fits a 19-inch rack, and with the included feet it can stand upright instead.

Suited to a rack behind a recorder, switch and network gear, and to a workstation or point-of-sale system that cannot tolerate even a momentary dropout. Runtime depends on the load — 1800 W is the peak rating, not a runtime promise; for longer autonomy see the 3 kVA model of the same series with an external battery cabinet.
