Dahua SG4028LP is a 28-port cloud managed gigabit switch: 24 PoE ports on a 240 W budget, two gigabit uplinks and two SFP slots. Ports 1 and 2 deliver up to 90 W under 802.3bt, enough for a PTZ or a heated housing. Manage it from the web interface or the DoLynk Care app.

Key Advantages and Features:

  • 24 PoE ports and 240 W: all 24 ports deliver PoE to 802.3af/at; ports 1 and 2 also support 802.3bt and Hi-PoE up to 90 W per device. The total budget is 240 W.
  • Cable up to 250 metres: long-distance PoE carries power and data 250 metres. At that distance the link drops to 10 Mbps — enough for a camera on a long cable.
  • Managed from the web or the cloud: a local web interface plus the DoLynk Care app in the cloud. LLDP draws the network topology, so a fault can be located without driving to the site.
  • PoE Watchdog: the switch watches port status and restarts a hung port by itself. A camera that would otherwise need a power cycle on site comes back on its own.
  • The network features are there: VLAN, STP, RSTP and link aggregation. Switching capacity 56 Gbps, packet forwarding 41.66 Mpps.
  • Metal, desk or rack: the sheet metal housing cools passively and runs from −10 °C to +55 °C. 8 kV static and 4 kV surge protection.
