Dahua IPC-HFW2849TL-S-LED-0280B-PRO is a WizSense 2 series 8 MP WizColor bullet camera: the F1.0 lens and Ultra Starlight sensor give colour images in low light, and warm white light (up to 20 m) switches on in darkness.

- 8 MP image: 1/1.8" CMOS sensor: 3840 × 2160 at up to 20 fps or 4 MP (2688 × 1520) at 25/30 fps.
- WizColor — colour at night: F1.0 lens and Ultra Starlight (0.0004 lux) give colour images in low light; in darkness 4 warm light LEDs switch on (up to 20 m). There is no IR illumination.
- Human and vehicle classification: Intrusion and tripwire separate people from vehicles; SMD Plus cuts false alarms.
- Built-in microphone: Audio is recorded together with the video.
- microSD up to 256 GB: Records even without a recorder; plus FTP/SFTP and NAS.
- One cable: Power and data over PoE (802.3af) or from a 12 V DC adapter.
