Dahua IPC-HFE8449F-Z-PV-AC is an explosion-proof WizMind 4 MP bullet camera, certified to ATEX and IECEx for use in gas and dust explosive atmospheres. A flameproof aluminium alloy housing, a motorized 2.7–12 mm lens, 120 dB WDR and the full WizMind analytics suite including PPE detection.
Key Advantages and Features:
- ATEX and IECEx certified: Marking II 2 G Ex db IIC T6 Gb and II 2 D Ex tb IIIC T80 °C Db. Certificates TÜV 24 ATEX 9121 X and IECEx TUR 24.0021X allow the camera into gas and dust explosive atmospheres.
- Flameproof aluminium housing: Aluminium alloy with a high anti-corrosion coating, certified to NEMA 4X. IP68 means the housing withstands 1.2 m of water for 30 minutes.
- 4 MP large sensor and 120 dB WDR: The 1/1.8-inch CMOS delivers 2688 × 1520 at 25/30 fps. Colour images start at 0.001 lux, and 120 dB WDR keeps both bright and dark areas readable against backlight.
- Infrared and warm light up to 50 m: Two infrared and two warm white LEDs. Smart Dual Light switches mode to suit the scene, and AFSA removes flicker automatically.
- Active deterrence: An alarm triggers a sound and a flashing light. One-tap disarming turns off the sound and light alarm and the email notifications together.
- PPE detection: The camera detects helmets, hats, workwear, masks, gloves, shoe covers, shoes and safety vests, and raises an alarm when required equipment is missing. Self-learning recognises different colours and styles of workwear.
- Full WizMind analytics: Face detection with attributes, perimeter protection (tripwire, intrusion, fast moving, loitering, gathering, parking), people counting and queue management, heat map, ANPR up to 60 km/h, SMD 4.0 and AcuPick search.
- Glass heating and defog: Heating clears water, ice, snow and mist from the glass, so the image stays clear in cold and damp conditions.
- Two-way talk: Dual microphones with Dahua noise reduction and a large-diameter Hi-Fi speaker. Plus 1 alarm in and out, RS-485 and microSD up to 512 GB.
- Power: Power comes straight from mains (100–240 V AC) or over PoE, so no separate power supply needs to be taken into the hazardous area.
