Dahua IPC-HDW3849QM-S-IL is an 8 MP eyeball camera with Smart Dual Light: infrared and warm white light up to 30 metres in three modes. Xinghan large-scale models sharpen human and vehicle detection, and AcuPick lets you search recordings for a target.

- Colour at night or infrared — your choice: Smart Dual Light offers three modes: infrared only, warm white light, or a smart mode where the white light comes on only when a person or vehicle enters the frame. Both reach 30 metres.
- Xinghan large-scale models: Dahua's Xinghan Vision Models extend detection range and cut false alarms. Perimeter protection covers tripwire and intrusion plus stay and loitering detection.
- AcuPick finds the target: a person or vehicle can be searched for in recordings with one click when the recorder supports AcuPick. Full-image face detection and SMD 4.0 are included.
- 8 MP without compromise: 3840 × 2160 at up to 25/30 fps, three streams and Super AI Coding to keep files small. 120 dB WDR handles backlight.
- Built for a northern winter: metal housing, IP67 and a −40 °C to +60 °C range. Power over 12 VDC or PoE (802.3af), up to 9.5 W.
