Product "Dahua DSS8EX-PR-V DSS Express to DSS Pro video platform upgrade licence • 1 channel"

DSS Express to DSS Pro video upgrade licence moves one video channel from DSS Express to DSS Professional. You need it when a system built on Express has outgrown the platform — in channel count or in features — and has to move up without re-licensing the whole installation from scratch.

Key Advantages and Features:

  • One licence = one video channel: Each licence moves a single video channel from DSS Express to DSS Professional. You need exactly as many licences as channels you are moving.
  • Express and Professional are separate platforms: Express channel licences do not work in Professional. That is precisely why this upgrade licence exists — without it the channels would have to be bought again.
  • First order at least 65 channels: DSS Express is free up to 64 channels, so an upgrade starts from the 65th channel. Further channels can be added one at a time.
  • Why move to Professional: Express stops at 256 channels. Professional scales beyond that and unlocks modules Express does not have — parking, attendance, AcuPick, LED screens, IP speakers and alarm devices.
  • Perpetual licence: The licence does not expire — you pay once. Software updates and vendor support are a separate annual DSS Care subscription.
  • Delivered as a licence key: There is no physical shipment — the key arrives by e-mail and is activated on your existing DSS server.
