Dahua AC12 is a dual-band Wi-Fi 5 router for the home: up to 867 Mbps on 5 GHz and 300 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, AC1200 together. All four network ports are gigabit, so a recorder or a PoE switch is not held back by the router. Guest network, parental control and WPA3 are included, managed from the web or your phone.

Key Advantages and Features:

  • Two bands at once: 5 GHz gives up to 867 Mbps and 2.4 GHz up to 300 Mbps — AC1200 together. Faster devices use 5 GHz while distant ones stay on 2.4 GHz, which passes through walls better.
  • Gigabit on every port: one WAN and three LAN ports, all 10/100/1000 Mbps. A recorder or a PoE switch connects at full speed instead of a 100 Mbps bottleneck.
  • Aims the signal at the device: beamforming directs the radio wave where the device is, and MU-MIMO serves several devices at once. Up to 32 clients on each band.
  • Guest network and parental control: a separate Wi-Fi for guests that cannot see the home network. Children's access can be limited by time and by device.
  • WPA3 encryption: supports WPA, WPA2 and the newer WPA3, plus MAC filtering. Managed from the web interface or the mobile app; firmware updates from either.
  • Low power, simple setup: 10.5 W at full load and 2.1 W idle. Sits on a desk or mounts on a wall; power adapter and network cable are included.
