AXON PRO Video IP Protector 12 PoE+ protects twelve Ethernet lines and their PoE+ power at once and fits a 19-inch rack as a 1U unit — right where the camera cables come together. The surge protector diverts the overvoltage from a lightning strike to earth through the PE conductor before it reaches the switch or recorder. Gas discharge tubes (GDT) handle a large impulse current; the PRO series absorbs more surge energy than the standard AXON PoE Net Protector. The unit is symmetrical — IN/OUT direction does not matter.
